CASL is looking to bring a new game to the Cape. This is a cross between Basketball, European Handball, and Soccer. The result is a fast paced game with a lot of scoring. We play on a basketball court. There are 2 teams that put 5 players on the court plus one goalie. You move the ball up and down the court by passing to your teammates. The idea is to close and an open shot on net There is a large “Crease” area that only the goalie is allowed in. Offensive players must shoot from beyond that area. They cannot enter this crease. The defensive player is allowed in a buffer section so they can defend. We will be tweaking the rules at the open gym tonight, with the hopes of making this the next CASL League. Come give it a try. This should be anoter good example of a sport that can have a wide range of skill levels, but get everyone involved.
