Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMSW, your role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive mental health care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each student's unique needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring each approach is tailored to individual student requirements.

• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, school psychologists, and external mental health specialists, to coordinate care and optimize student outcomes.

• Participating in regular case consultations, professional development sessions, and peer reviews to enhance your clinical skills and the quality of care provided.

• Offering guidance and educational resources to students and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and community support services.

• Staying current with advancements in mental health practices and integrating the latest research into your clinical work.

• Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring that treatment goals are met in a timely and ethical manner, consistent with the standards of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. By building trusting relationships, you will empower these young individuals to overcome difficulties such as anxiety, depression, social challenges, and trauma-related experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid License to Practice as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
