HireNow Snapshot The Customer Relationship Associate (CRA) will support customer growth initiatives while delivering transportation solutions across multiple freight modes. This role combines account development, transportation sales, and operational collaboration to ensure customers receive exceptional service and long-term value. Business Development & Customer Management Generate new freight opportunities and cultivate long-term customer relationships. Manage and expand an active portfolio of transportation accounts. Develop growth strategies to increase business with existing customers. Identify opportunities for account penetration and revenue growth. Maintain high levels of responsiveness and customer satisfaction. Monitor transportation markets and identify emerging opportunities. Transportation Solutions & Freight Execution Support Dry Van, Reefer, FTL, Intermodal, Drayage, Specialized Equipment, Over-Dimensional, and Multi-Modal transportation services. Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability. Collaborate with Carrier Development and Operations teams to support execution. Maintain strong carrier relationships and service standards. Resolve service interruptions, claims, and transportation challenges. Ensure customer expectations are consistently met. Systems & Performance Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to maintain accurate records. Monitor account activity and performance metrics. Maintain documentation and customer information within company systems. Support process improvements and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with internal teams to maximize service quality. Required Qualifications Minimum five years of experience within a non-asset freight brokerage environment. Proven business development, transportation sales, or account management experience. Strong understanding of freight pricing and transportation execution. Experience supporting FTL, Dry Van, Reefer, Specialized Freight, Intermodal, and Over-Dimensional shipments. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Experience utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Stable employment history. U.S. citizen authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Transportation brokerage professionals with operational experience. Experience supporting carrier development initiatives. Asset-based transportation experience. Exposure to multi-modal transportation services. Strong customer retention and account growth capabilities. Experience balancing profitability with service excellence. Professionals seeking long-term growth within an expanding brokerage organization. Priority consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate: Extensive non-asset brokerage experience. Strong transportation sales and account development success. Experience supporting Dry Van, Reefer, Specialized, and Over-Dimensional freight. Proven ability to grow customer portfolios. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Operational understanding of freight execution. Stable career progression and a track record of long-term success. Strong communication and customer service capabilities. HireNow Disqualifiers Jumpy or inconsistent employment history. Less than five years of freight brokerage experience. Limited exposure to transportation sales or account management. Lack of knowledge regarding freight pricing and execution. Poor communication or relationship management skills. Limited experience with Transportation Management Systems. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
